Federal IT Dashboard Update

Today the Federal IT Dashboard added a new app; visitors to the site can now receive updates regarding Federal IT investments directly to their mobile devices.

The Federal IT Dashboard was launched in 2009 as a component to the Obama administrations Open Government Initiative by Federal CIO Vivek Kundra. Citizens can monitor over $80 million IT investments through the IT dashboard. The IT dashboard has also helped the OMB monitor inflated spending on IT projects, according to Kundra.
